Nerd Championship Ring
Well this ring clearly did not turn out as intended. I plan to carve another wax band and set the Marrella lower to minimize the weight of the piece and lower the high collar. However, this particular piece still needs to polished off... or melted down? There is a part of me that feels the impulse to flush-set a ring of gems around the collar just for the hell of it. I'll just have to work on the next draft and worry about this mistake another time.
