Conference Season

When the season changes and the beautiful weather gives way to damp grey, I find solace in the studio. With GSA looming on the horizon, I figured it was a nice excuse to work on some designs I've been turning around in my head. Two sculptural cuffs and a plethora of etched pieces. It's been a productive few weekends.

I learned great deal about working on larger mixed metal pieces (brass is such a solder sponge!) and what gauge is too think for rings (hint: the one I used). Even so, I'm pleased with the pieces that did turn out. I'll be wearing the brass studs this week to test out any metal sensitivity issues.
